Queen of the nations! In less civilised times great armies marched from its capital, Rome, and conquered most of the known world. In line with modern methods of government it has curtailed the great legions and armed forces are only maintained by the many Dukes, Counts, Viscounts and Barons that make up this largest nation of The Amphictyony. All nobles are titularly in fealty through hierarchal chains to one of four ArchDukes who are of equal station. This doesn't stop them occasionally using their armies for less enlightened activities like invoking their wrath on their neighbours. The title of Emporer is still used for the ArchDuke of Rome but it is merely an honourific. The other ArchDukes are seated at Venice, Verona and Milan.

The citizenes of Romania are a diverse lot and almost any race from anywhere in Enuma Elish can be found here. They practice many crafts and engage in all sorts of trade. The general language spoken is known variously as Common, Trade or Italic and is written with Roman characters. The State religion is Roman although due to the large number of immigrants many legal temples can be found to other gods. Their chief gods are Jupiter, Venus, Apollo, Mars, Minerva, Bacchus, Pluta, Juno, Mercury, and Neptune.
